DJ Mixxtress is a Seattle-based turntablist with 21 years behind the decks and a reputation for delivering high-energy, genre-blending sets that move rooms. Known for her technical skill and fearless style, she seamlessly weaves Hip Hop, House, EDM, Funk, and Latin influences into performances that feel both intentional and electric.

 

A true pioneer in her field, Mixxtress made history as the first female DJ to place 3rd in a DMC Battle. Her career has taken her from iconic clubs and festivals to stages around the world. In addition to her Seattle roots, she regularly travels nationally and internationally to DJ, bringing her sound to cities and destinations including New York, Las Vegas, the Bahamas, Portland, the Philippines, and beyond.

 

In Seattle, she currently holds monthly residencies at Forum in Bellevue and Still Liquor, where her sets continue to draw loyal crowds and high energy.

 

Beyond nightlife, Mixxtress has become a trusted name in the corporate and brand space. She is the official DJ for the Seattle Seahawks, The Gap, Nordstrom, and Virgin Voyages, delivering polished, high-impact soundtracks for everything from large-scale brand activations to luxury experiences at sea. Her ability to read the room and elevate any environment has made her one of the most sought-after DJs for premium events worldwide.

 

Off the decks, Mixxtress is deeply committed to education and representation. As a mentor and instructor, she has guided the next generation of DJs with an authentic, no-gatekeeping approach. In 2022, she founded MXXT Events, a DJ booking agency that connects top-tier talent with major brands while actively promoting diversity within the industry.
